SBAC Springfield Update

 

The 2022 Spring Session of the Illinois General Assembly is currently underway. The SBAC is working closely with legislative leadership in both the House and Senate. Our policy proposals are in the process of being filed as legislation. These proposals are focused on supporting the small business community, growing our workforce, and revitalizing neighborhood business districts. SBAC Policy Committee

 

All SBAC Members and guests* are invited to join our SBAC Policy Committee meetings where we discuss the latest status of our small business initiatives. These meetings serve as the main driver of our agenda and act as a great forum for you to provide feedback on the needs of the small business community. Neighborhood Revitalization Coalition

 

Thriving commercial corridors support local communities across Chicago and Cook County. However, even prior to the pandemic many corridors were struggling to fill vacant spaces.  The Neighborhood Revitalization Coalition is focused on advocating for policies that will support local businesses and spark economic development in neighborhood businesses districts throughout Chicago and Cook County.
