I am informed by the tranquil aesthetic of nature, I create paintings which are an organic extension of the peace that comes from its delicate incarnations. I see the healing loveliness that manifests in its quiet scenes, those singular instances of natural serenity, and convey them through my art.

As a child I was hyperactive and dyslexic and frequently ill with temperatures exceeding 106. This created quite a space for reflection, and drew me to nature where I found calm. In time I found I could recreate this calm at home while drawing the natural world I would escape to. Feeling that connection to nature gave me a sense of grounding, and I continued my exploration of art which developed into painting in both watercolor and oil.
